A clear ribbed glass candle warmer lamp on a gold arm and an oval wood base. It melts your jar candle from above, so you get the scent and keep the wick unlit.
The ribbed shade splits the bulb light into soft lines, and the gold arm curves over it like a reading lamp. Set your candle in the dip on the wood base and switch it on. The wax warms, the scent spreads, and there is no smoke.
Tap the clock for 2, 4 or 8 hours and the lamp switches off on its own. Tap + or − to step through 4 brightness levels, or hold the button to dim smoothly. Hold power for 1 second and the light goes off after 60 seconds.
The lamp goes from 9.1 to 13 in (23 to 33 cm) tall, so the shade moves about 4 in (10 cm) to sit right over your jar.

It takes one GU10 halogen bulb, 35W. One comes fitted and two spares are free in the box. You can also buy GU10 2-packs here. Skip LED bulbs: they do not get warm enough to melt wax.
